I was thinking the other day just how visible the US military are everywhere in the states. Remarkable for a nation that initially didn't even want a standing army.

Yes, they do and I suspect you wouldn't make it out of the airport.

They do. On planes, you sometimes get the captain making an announcement,.

I've paid for priority boarding before. No-one gave me a round of applause, though. Just dirty looks
