BuggyWimb - what should I be looking to spend?

Spoke to my sister last night and said we were looking for one on Ebay (an iCandy Peach) for about £350 and she said there's absolutely no reason to spend even half that.

I was really against spending a lot on one, but my wife persuaded me to

and I'm glad she did now. You'll spend so much time pushing it about that it's good to get a light one that is easy to fold, but strong. You can always sell it on eBay afterwards and get a lot of your money back. Having said that, we need one that's good in snow and hilly terrain and the resale value over here is pretty high

or just buy a second hand Emmaljunga or Bugaboo

You'll use it for about what? Two, three years at most

Just get a versatile won, car seat, back and forwards facing options, decent wheels etc.

Mamas & Papas do decent enough ones

My sisters all spent around £300-£400 on the ones for their kids.

I just have no idea if you're paying for a brand name or if the expensive ones

    are actually better.

The pricier ones do seem a bit over-designed. Do you really need three incline gradients for the...wotsit...bit they sleep in?

No need for that nonsense. Get a £35 fold up won.

    That's just california dreaming.

I can't believe I've been allowed to post about buggy advice without receiving a massive ****ing.

I'm suspicious. Everyone's laughing behind my back, aren't they?
