3 weeks luggage for me and the Mrs. Well basically a ruck sack for me and 4 steamer trunks for the good lady

I used this company, seemed to be about 1/2 the price of any other company. Was a bit concerned they might be dodgy but was excellent

Mustang Convertible, the only choice

Looked at that and it was a possibility but I was concerned over luggage

I had to lob one of the cases on the back seat when moving between hotels

You'll end up with a 4x4

Some sort of standard chevorlet rental car. Or a dodge caravan

When are you going?

Mid October. Probably driving down the east coast then across to New Orleans

Looks like it. The price for a mid-range BMW or Merc is incredible

Possibly it's all so mediocre though
