well, not really.
She was the ex-wife of a guy running for Senate in 2004 against Obama. The Chicago Machine got a judge to undeal their divorce settlement .. and more shockingly their custody settlement for their kid. This had never been done before. In the custody settlement there were allegations from this gal saying that her husband wnted to have sex with her in public rooms in Paris, New Orleans, etc. They never did so, but she described the rooms as being dark, with whips, etc.
The Chicago Machine had what they wanted. He dropped out of the race. Obama became US Senator from Illinois. The rest, as they say, is history.
