Cazorla is an absolute delight to watch, will be one of AW's best ever purchases

Funny you said that as we were discussing that last night, would you say Pires is perhaps the

nearest to him in terms of pure skill to take players on in the Wenger era?

  3. #3

Yes.....or maybe even Hleb. It's the fact that he is 2 footed, even the commentators last night

and on MotD at the weekend were saying that it's really difficult to tell which is natural foot. It does amaze me how few professional footballers are comfortable with either foot

  4. #4

Hleb of course, forgot about him, his only problem was lack of goals

  5. #5

He's unplayable when he plays centre mid, completely runs the game

hopefully Wenger doesn't shift him out wide.

  6. #6

He may not have any choice with both The Ox and Pods out, Gibbs perhaps

  7. #7

Amazing ability to hold the ball but general lack of end product was the difference

between him being a good player and top, top, top player

  8. #8

Maybe he can use the warchest?

  9. #9

Apparently Alberto Mendez was one of the greats....

Amazing skills...either foot....incredible change of gear.....They reckoned he'd replace Overmars by the end of the season but he smashed his leg up proper and his career was more or less over...

Nod He was awesome last night
