Someone ought to remind him that there's no point in being a big club if you consistently fail

to finish in the top 4.

  3. #3

Suddenly finishing top four is a worthwhile achievement?

Should be the minimum benchmark for where he's setting their stool

Weren't people in flairs when they last won the league

He is picking up the pieces of 20 years of instability, although of course if it were up to you

we'd have adopted a similar managerial conveyor belt policy.

I'd hardly call positing the notion of change after 16 years with one manager a conveyor belt policy

Suarez doesn't give a f**k about what they won 30 years ago or how

Many fans they have in Australia. The facts are they have been well off the pace in the league for a while now, they've signed a load of **** this summer which hasn't really given them anything other than a little but more depth to their squad, and they're a million miles away from where we are at financially.

Going forward there's only one winner, so he can keep living off the past if it makes him feel better, but it's irrelevant to the modern footballer.

How long would you give a new man if he didn't move us forward? 2 years? 3 at a push?
