So,how come left backs attack more than right backs?

    Cafu doesn't count.

    What about Alves?

I think it is down to on a like for like basis, left footers tend to be more technically able than right footers. Strange but think about who was left footed in your school football team, they were good, weren't they?

So left backs tend to have better abilities in their locker to offer more in attacking play than right footers.

Rights cannot attack as they have to stay back and defend against the left backs

Viv Anderson was way more offensive than Kenny Sansom

And how come our left backs over the years who constantly went forward

    hardly ever scored.

I would have thought Ashley Cole might have had a few more with us than he did.

Ashley cole scored 8 times (the only one really remember is the goal against one of those russian sides on the 5th of November
    And Clichy scored once

Where as Santos scored twice in 25 appearances.

Not that I really want goals from that position but I always thought the positions they used to get in and over lap with the left wing I was surprised they didn't get more goals.
