I want something I can connect things easily too. Not via iTunes. Is there such a product where for example I am on holiday I can connect my camera to it and transfer the pics over immediately.

It will be mainly used for travel purposes.

You can get a memory card reader that plugs into the iPad

Now this sounds interesting.

Just get a Nexus 7, imo
