In the period of 2002 until 2009 when we lost to Chelsea I never saw Arsenal lose at home.

And I had been to plenty of games. I would say 50+ at least.

probably something to do with that they didn't often lose at home.

There was a long stretch of games I went to before seeing Arsenal lose at home.

Arsenal didn't win any of the first three games I went to see.

Same here - the first match I attended was in 1976. I didn't see us lose until 1984.
