    Excuse my complete ignorance AWIMB but why did Per only get a 1 game ban, but Giroud 3?

    Is it it relating to professional foul/dangerous play?

    Both were straight reds but Giroud's was dangerous play

    Last man professional fouls carry 1 game ban

    dangerous play carries a 3 game ban
