there should be no reason whatsoever why we couldn't have bought Baines, Jagielka (from a skint Everton) and a couple of others. The fact that he wanted Samba and Hangeland for so long shows that he knows there is a problem there. It's so much more of a risk to buy abroad rather than getting someone who is ready immediately
