I think the brilliance of Walcott is his unpredictability. The opposition don't know whether he's

going to run with the ball and fall over (see the assist for Giroud's second yesterday), or produce a moment of exceptional quality.

    You can't defend against that.

  2. #2

He did the fall over trick twice yesterday. Worked both times

  3. #3

You could make the same claim for Gervinho.

  4. #4

Indeed. Well at least the running and falling over bit.

  5. #5

This time last year he was getting massive stick. No one would have cared if he'd gone to LFC.

  6. #6

I think assuming that he will mostly be pretty **** ensures they'll usually be right.

  7. #7

Gerv's secret weapon is his disgustingly bulbous head which terrifies his opponents. They fear a

    fully developed razborka dwells inside.

  8. #8

You can pretty much mostly defend against him though

I like him against a team playing a high line but how many teams actually do that against us? He's next to useless with no space to run into, his link up/hold up play is still non existent

Demba Ba was excellent Clound Nine

Except the link up to Girouds head yesterday against a pushed back defence Shrug

Awimber award clearly going to your head. No excuse for posting such patent nonsense
