    Why cant AW sign this Marat Safin guy right away rather than a loan deal with an option to buy

    esp. if he had been after this guy for the past 4/5 years.

    Because we can get a quality player for a season and in a year's time things might change

    It really isn't hard - given how long it will take Jack to get back to full fitness
