I’m still amazed there hasn’t been another Rory Dalap since he was such a beast at it back in the day. He cracked it and showed it to be a ruthless weapon more dangerous than a corner. I assumed at the time all clubs at youth level would be specialising the tactic and developing these players.

I saw Partey wind up for a long throw.

Decent enough effort but needs way more height and distance.

Delap had it down to a tee. It was a terror weapon. After 90 minutes of bombardment Senderos used to cower in sheer terror, white as a ghost as if just liberated by a round of NATO bombing.
