If he's going out on loan it must be because we can't shift the deadwood 43 other cb's. Seems daft otherwise. He's well able to start the UEFA cup group stage games. The perfect opportunity to get eased in.
I still maintain Wenger's last big money signings are what cost not only his job but Emery's as well. Ozil, Mustafi and Xhaxa. Nobody wants them and you can't shift them due to their massively over inflated wages. So you're stuck with them draining a fortune in wages every week. Obviously Xhaxa has started to look better in this back 3 counter attacking formation. But I still maintain he doesn't have the engine required to be a top player. Similar to Denilson back in the day. I honestly don't think there's much between him and Elneny. Both decent squad players but are they actually better than starting two Gilles Grimandi's? I think not.
