Could be managing his injuries. He's still getting a big minutes per week output. Possibly even more than last season.
With the Soares sub I'm guessing he always inteneded to start Tierney tonight. Although If Eleneny trots out at left back we've got a problem.
On Tierney he popped up on my youtube feed the other week on an obscure channel and the wee fecker can fairly strike a ball Happy Gilmore style.
