I've got a packet of bacon with a 'use by' date of 16th April.

Will it be ok to use on Saturday, or will it taste old and stale?

If it's been in the fridge you're golden. Much like eggs they keep for ages when refridgerated

Won't it be a bit, you know, stale and musty? Like old bread?

Bacon is cured, if it smells iffy dont bother but it should be fine

I don't think you are supposed to keep eggs in a fridge.

You're not but they last for ears and ears

My eggs have poopy on them. Not ideal for the fridge.
