It?s all well and good trying to retain possession but if the opposition are smothering your defenders like a wet blanket, doesn?t it make sense to lump it up field once in a while ? Raya for their second goal. Good grief 🙄

Risk v Reward, innit.
It does make sense though. If possession is going to be so important, then your keeper clearly has more "free ball" than any other player on the pitch. Might as well use that than have him just hoof the ball away all the time. Naturally he's going to come a cropper once in a while.
David Raya has not only changed the way we play but also the way other teams play against us.
Me neither. I had a friend at university who was a big Forest fan. Covered my door in our halls with every single report from our defeat against Wrexham in 91.
Played on the same team as him for a couple of years and we worked very well together but then found out that right wing wasn't far enough for him - he was on a watchlist as a member of the National Front.
Oddly, he loved Rocky (though tbf who didn't - well Norman Whiteside maybe)
Last night was quite good, should've been battered but it was much more enjoyable that way. Real Madrid always seem to know what's best, entertainment-wise.
If it were possible to arrange it (which it isn't), football is softening City up so any punishment they get won't actually cost them anything. Pep says they're expecting a verdict next month.
Schadenfreude hardly does the sensation justice. I forget who the pundit was that showed with just cold stats how City's defence was unassailable with Rodri in it and hopelessly porous without him. I wish injury on no player but if his recovery could stall til the season's over that would be good
