Even Mike Dean said it was a soft free kick :redcard: But was seen as a foul (unlike some earlier challenges by Nunez) and given. Liverpool players clearly stopped before the ball was put in the net.Quote:

When the officials are not sure on corners / goal kicks and throw-ins they seem to give it to the defending team which is probably safest bet. Ditto free kicks that are six-of-one half-a-dozen-of-the-other. We benefitted from one of those in the corner early in the second half. Mrs Lincs was most incensed.
