I noticed something whenever I call an American office.

When the person on reception says 'they will transfer you'

If you say thank you they can not help but reply saying You're welcome/have a nice day.

I wonder how long you could keep it going.

I am glad to see our EU immigrants have added a new dimension to bad customer service in the UK.

If you call a hotel in London you are often answered by angry sounding eastern European type who says the name and how can i help you so quickly you don't even know if you have called the right place.

Going back to the US, It's not all of the US though. If you call the South you get some great people answering the phone.
