New Zealand has decided to retain the flag with the Union Jack on it. I work with a Kiwi and she
seems strangely cross about this, saying things like "We should strike out on our own and forge our own identity separate to the UK".
I have thus far managed to refrain from pointing out to her that her efforts to strike out on her own and forge an identity separate to the UK don't seem to be going that well.
wd me.
-
Did you see the alternatives - hardly a contest
I know a few Kiwis here - some of them can even form a sentence. They were all unimpressed with the options.
Of these I would go for the Kiwi with laser eyes - cool man

I do feel they hobbled the whole process by choosing a shitty flag though
Mind you, what a great upward trajectory for the UK, bribing scotland to stay in an abusive relationship, this and coming soon the renegotiation of every trade deal ever.

This wouldve been my choice
-
Why not just go with the fern on a black background? That's their rugby emblem and that is literally
the only significant thing about them, so they might as well just own it.
Also, it looks quite cool.
-
I'm very much of the 'Get your shit stars off our flag' school of thought, tbh.
-
It's a wonder you understood a word of what she said, tbh.
I knew some Kiwis. Their toilet was absolutely covered in skid marks.
-
These subject peoples f**king love us, j.

-
This one belches audibly in the office.

-
One expects nothing better from colonial commoners.
-
It's odd. Despite swearing undying hatred of Australia and Australians, I always end up getting on
with them rather well. However, I have never had anything but beef with New Zealanders. I find them spectacularly humourless, dour and quite often just thick.
-
I have no truck with any of them.
That goes for Canadians as well.
-
Bribing scotland to stay in an abusive relationship?
I know they get bantered off with scotch-housery on here somewhat but that sounds a bit strong.
-
-
I cant believe you left out the hobbitses
-
Oh come on, we sent in the cavalry to try and salvage the whole business
Betty Saxe-Coburg-Geotha even clambered off her non-partisan pedestal and waded in, so real was the fear she'd lose a couple of castles.
-
I know! Don't you just wish they'd voted for independence?
It would have been marvellous to see Sturgeon and Salmond on their knees begging for help. :hehe:
I've also just noticed that both SNP leaders have fish names. :rubchin:
-
You've literally just noticed that?
Would today not have been the divorce day?
-
Yes, she said she hoped the people of Scotland would 'think very carefully about the future'.
How is that 'wading in', exactly?
By the way mate, every time you make the tired old Saxe-Coburg gag, you allow your xenophobia to show again.
-
Thin lips on Sturgeon. Never trust a thin-lipped Jimmy Krankie looky-likey, I say.
She really is a megalomaniacal sour bitch.
-
I have. You know how sometimes really obvious things just pass one by?
Yes, today would have been the day a proud, independent Scotland opened for business already massively f**ked. :hehe:
-
Oh come on, it was a carefully measured intervention following pleas from the PM...
Jeremy Heywood (look him up, after democratic socialism) and half of the no campaign.
As for your accusations of my xenophobia :hehe: seriously?
I'll call her what I want, I am not a subject.
-
As with everything predicated on current stock price levels, it's a massive gamble
Or maybe even a fools errand.
See also every deficit reduction target to date and, I'm willing to lay money on this, the target for 2020.
-
Would she not get into your group of lefty termagants with whom to have degrading sex?
-
Not that bit, the 'abusive' aspect.
So to clarify, it's not British that are evil, just the English, right?
Two legs bad, four legs good, and so on.
-
Almost, it's the British and the english
Your welsh, irish and your scots are fine.
Cornish types dont count though.
-
So *not* the British, just the English.
-
Sorry, I meant the "British" and the english
-
You've literally confused me to death here, Wichard.
-
Ooh! What's that smiley?
-
Would some pictures help?
-
.
-
It's a dead banana. Not native to these parts.
-
Certainly.
