It's a shame they've sacked him. I was enjoying them being shit.
If the rumours of Hiddink coming are true, fear not, they will continue to be shit.
He's well past it, ol' Guus.
I just hope the damage to his reputation and his legacy cuts deep enough to have a profound
psychological impact on the man and his hopes of future happiness.
As you may be able to tell, I am not quite so able to resist the allure of steffenfreude as Sir Charlie http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/ohwell.gif
What if he brings this sort of stuff back to Chelsea?
I would say by exiting now his reputation is still largely intact.
They have qualified for the next phase of the CL as group winners, their (current) league position being laughable of course.
Herr Klopp’s reputation was not in any way darkened by the woeful position of Dortmund at this stage last season.
Now what that reputation is I am really not sure.
A very successful perhaps brilliant manager who has delivered league success in 4 countries and 2 Champions League successes – or a manager who always appears to ultimately turn success into a rotten, nasty environment.
You can't argue with that.
Any man who can cause Holland to fail to qualify for a tournament is clearly past his prime.
It's a shame Arsene didn't get the chance to beat him in the league.
Perhaps he will, at Old Trafford next season.
isn't van Gaal bringing the title to Manchester this season?
Things don't seem to be panning out as I suspected they might a few weeks ago, do they?
We are all fallible, la.
They'll finish second to City, tbh.
I think the "Three seasons" tag will stick
He's not a manager to build a legacy. He'll win you stuff, but it wont last.
Well the radio had him down for the worst managerial performance in 23 years earlier
Since Leeds won the old Championship then came 17th in the new Premiership. I have said elsewhere that I cannot recall Howard Wilkinson abusing females, other managers and his players and staff during the said decline.
What did you think of Stevie G's comments about young Aaron the other day?
I mean, Stevie knows a thing or two, doesn't he?
Let us hope it is a lasting legacy on ineptitude. There cannot be many managers left for them
Ex-footballers. All thick as pig do daas. Actually the Villa game was his best of the season
When I say best of course I mean only one where he has not been poor of course.
I shall stick to my guns until he has three or four good games on the bounce then I shall reconsider. I shall be more than happy to be proven wrong. The more top class players the better imo and now he has a run in his favoured position I expect to see him shine
But not while they've been shit.
