little support going forward, he won a number of balls in the air but there was no-one picking up the second ball.
Pretty standard stuff from him. Those chances were just too easy. We needed a tricky volley at a tight angle. One of those would've flown in
iirc IWWW was in the Arsenal side that drew 0-0 with Spurs at Highbury where it was the most one sided game I've ever seen. The one where the Spurs fans were celebrating not losing like they'd actually won a trophy.
Where was your bell end that night Ian?
Hardly his fault we cant find anyone better. I actually thought he did well today and was a little unlucky with the two chances he missed.
Overall it was a poor performance from the first minute. Our shape was wrong and too many players were making bad decisions and failing to read the game. Tiredness, both mental and physical.
You cant expect the same eleven players to play twice a week with f**k all on the bench and a heavily weakened right flank. It is just too much to ask.
Given all of that, very grateful to get a point but it does show why we wont win the league. We just create too many problems for ourselves.
On a luckier day both go in, we win 2-1 and the people who hate him keep very quiet.
There was some piss poor peformances today but its always giroud that gets the stick. Sometimes he is useless but he wasnt today.
His faux hard man routine is wearing on me too...but maybe I'm being overly critical
Bellerin, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Wilshere and Welbeck return from injury.
There is simply no escaping the fact that we will fight all the way to the end this year
