Here are the three obvious explanations for what happened to MH370.
1. Aeroplane shot down in a botched military operation
A book, Flight MH370: The Mystery, claimed that the aeroplane was accidentally shot down by US-Thai strike fighters in a top-secret training drill in the South China Sea. London-based author Nigel Cawthorne said: "Those involved would have every reason to keep quiet about it."
And now they have planted debris to cover their tracks.
2. The CIA is involved
Former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad has accused the CIA and Boeing of hiding evidence. In a blog post, he wrote that, if the aeroplane's GPS system failed, Boeing and the US intelligence agency would know why but were not revealing anything.
"Someone is hiding something," he wrote. "It is not fair that MAS [Malaysia Airlines] and Malaysia should take the blame."

3. The aeroplane was taken to a remote US military base
The US government has been forced to deny claims that the aeroplane was forced to land at its military base Diego Garcia, a small coral atoll about 3500 kilometres west of Malaysia.
Diego Garcia has been at the centre of numerous other conspiracy theories, including claims that it is used by the CIA for "nefarious activities".

One is always more inclined to assume cock-up and cover-up rather than any grander conspiracy, so
I'm going for the first one with some of the second one.

they had to get another one to go with the other one they stole in Ukraine.
Or the Ukraine crash was faked.
So they could then pretend that plane was MH370 in order to steal the real one for some evil purpose.
But what are they doing with all the little chaps on board?
Have they bumped them orff or are they just hanging around Diego Garcia getting a suntan?
How do we know they ever existed?
maybe the grieving family members are actors.
They've set them to work reading your emails.
I like how conspiracy theorists always credit governments and intelligence agencies with fiendish
cleverness and metronomic efficiency in these things when all the evidence suggests that they are quite extraordinarily hamfisted and prone to the most boneheaded mistakes.
It's all a plot to make Jeremy Corbyn look bad.
I also like the way they ignore the difficulties of keeping such things secret.
The hundreds of military and civial aviation personnel who would have to keep such a plot secret - do you think they made them promise on their mum's grave no to tell?

Indeed. This is the same country that can't keep the private correspondence of its senior government
figures secret, so quite how they imagine they're covering up anything that big is beyond me.
Though you could say that the public have been known to label any body who might question something
as a conspiracy theorist tin foil hat wearing mentaloid.
Or some conspiracy nuts will start saying that other conspiracy nuts are plants to damage all credibility.
