Giroud already back in normal training after the international break
Pretty massive not having to run Welbeck into the ground in December imo.
-
f**k the hair sweepy, self obsessed c**t. I want Danny and nobody else, thank you.
-
it,s a squard game, rach
-
This is one of your better posts. wd

Weeks ahead of schedule. So we don't even need to get too depressed when he has his little setback
-
Hey - I'm getting a Garmin. Doing most of my rides with the lady now so not really looking at it
from a training perspective.
Looking to get the Garmin Edge Touring Plus for it's mapping etc. Any thoughts?

Very average footballer back in normal training after the international break
I should work in tabloid media.
-
Shrug. I have the Edge 800, which was top dog until about a year ago.
Mapping and navigation was supposed to be quite good on it, but it's actually utterly rubbish at that.
I think it may be slightly better on the new ones, but I don't really know.
-
I read on twitter last weekend that our recent lack of attacking fluidity is a sign
of how much we miss him :-|
-
Or tarmacing.
-
They're at it over here. Driving up and down in fancy cars lookiing for
people who may need their drive done and then knock on their door with a leaflet in hand.
-
That is probably true. He is much better than wellbeck at linking with players
In and around the box -see cup final winner. Wellbeck almost always f**ks this up.
Wellbeck obviously has other strengths but we probably need to get used to those. Giroud is a much better focal point to play off as he is more static (polite way of saying slow)
In other words, cwe do miss him a bit
-
IN AND AROUND!
-
I think the midfield is the main issue. We don't have anyone in any sort of form now or
since the beginning of the season. What we probably thought would be the strong point of the team this season appears to be the worst at the minute.
-
If anything I think he's described it a bit too well, Clive.
-
Ozil has definitely improved over the last few games.
-
Doesnt help that the midfield has to change every single game to cope with injuries and
Thst he wants to move ozil and cazorla about constantly.
Cant work out why ramsey has become **** again.
-
It's actually the correct usage, unfortunately the klaxon is contractual
Andy prefers to use it in things like "He's got to get in and around the keeper there, Clive".
Which I'm sure we'll all agree conjures up some horrific images
-
Same issue as it's been for a while, we're trying to build a house without RSJs
-
I do apologise. That was poor from the lad me
-
No hard feelings, here's a picture of a young Clive Tyldesly
-
Wenger said he told him to keep it simple last time he had a bad run of form.
Seems like he's doing what he was doing before that advice, imo.
-
Nice jumper. Not to everyone's taste but good to know he has that in his locker
I heard ray parlour say we need to make the emirates a fortress the other day.
Wouldn't that make it a lot harder tp the fans to get in and out? Potentisl health and safety issues.
-
The difference between his good and his shit is massive.
-
Lost his magic boots, innit.
-
He's doing the backheels again.

-
-
The truth is that he is not shit, he has simply plateaued.
If indeed that is a word.
His form has regressed since last season when quite simply he was at times superb which allowed his foibles to be overlooked. He scored goals, he was ace, other poor areas of his game were overlooked, scientists call it the Vermaelen effect.
The expectancy now is huge and is shown in his own game as he is in desperation at times attempting things he simply should not be. Chuck in a few goals all the same and no f**ker would care.
He is also one of a few that is struggling (see also Wilshere, Cazorla, Ozil). When a few things within a small collective unit struggle you end up with a big struggle.
Now for sure that is one stupid sentence but imagine it in a French accent, with a slightly nonce-like grin at the same time. Loads of people on here would be lapping it up.

The world needs tarmac.
Wd the less than honest members of the Irish travelling community.
-
I can imagine Wenger saying that
-
It's a fact BGM.
He was never this huge world class midfielder that many were claiming last season, he was simply a player having a very good season.
-
Not sure that you can plateau and regress at the same time. I think the latter is more accurate here
to describe a comparable loss of form.
Pires said that in his best season everything he tried came off. Perhaps Aaron had one of those. Wenger has often said that consistency is the most important thing, and we seem to be short of players who are consistently at their best.
-
He just needs to get back to bring a midfielder again, instead of Rivelino.
No need for Khedira then too.
-
Very true.
He has regressed from last season and is now at a more realistic level at which we can expect him to perform.
It is when he stops scoring that people get on his case and pull him up on fundamental errors that a central midfield player should not be making. Whereas a player like Wilshere makes the same errors but has never been a prodigious outlet in terms of goals.
In summary, we should have signed Cesc and of course a destroyer / midfield powerhouse.
-
You did see his last game ... ?
-
indeed it does
