Someone just told me they're giving up coffee for Lent.

People who give things up for Lent weird me out. Why? What is the point? You're not a Christian, you're just trying to draw attention to yourself. Stop it! If you actually want to give something up, just stop doing it, but don't stop for 40 days, you knob!
Or, if you must do this thing, then try doing so without loudly telling everyone about it, you self-regarding, attention-seeking tossrag.
Grrrr!
I read on Facebook someone boasting that they are giving up Facebook for Lent.
The thing that is currently annoying me, is when a celebrity posts a message like
"To all those of you asking where I bought my jacket from, it was @REISS"
Nobody asked you, you just want to plug the shop to your followers so you get a load of free gear, you freeloading tightarse
Jesus f**king Christ. What sort of religious hipster shit is this? Until yesterday I had never heard
of "Lent". Now I can;t get away from it. I bet Jorge is into this sort of thing.
Not everyone is giving up some up for lent.
Some chaps will be givening it op fore lint.
Your mate tligger might need to pay lent

Not only that I once bumped into him at the tube station.
he asked where do I live. He said oh me too.
so I am stuck on a train with him talking and talking.
:-(
I should say stop trying to be my friend.
Oh James, I reckon you're in there
I thought they all lived in North London?
Because when they greet the cabbies at Heathrow, they all say "Harrow"
