I'd just like to point out that Game of Thrones is quite possibly the best thing on telly ever
I would seriously urge anybody who thought they might struggle with the whole sword and sorcery fantasy stuff to try and give it a whirl. It's actually quite light on that stuff and what there is of it is really rather believable.
It's also quite wonderful horror, very well written and there's more tits in it than your average Knave.
-
I've found myself getting bored with The Walking Dead now. I tend to fast forward through it
when i watch the new episodes. Although this new army fella seems interesting.
-
My telly is broken
seems like going away has knackered it.
It comes on for a few seconds then the picture goes off completely.
Samsung out!
-
I've been totally hooked by the new series
I think it tends to get annoying when they stop moving, which is strange because if anything the comic was the exact opposite.
I've three eps of GoT left, I'm not sure we'll be seeing many zombies tonight unless we go north of the wall.
-
I'm going to miss the new season.

Ex has cancelled Sky, so no Sky Go; gf has Virgin, which doesn't include Sky Atlantic.
At this rate, I'm going to have to shack up with someone who's got Sky. :-(
-
There's no quite possibly about it.Yes it's hard and you have to put some effort in but the payoff..
-
I'm in that boat, though I do enjoy a nice old school box set
-
True Detective? I like it so far.
-
My goodness. Television is so complicated nowadays, isn't it.
-
I spent yesterday with the actor who played Matthos Seaworth in season 2 - Davos' son.
Lovely chap, nice and humble. He was a bit gutted when they killed him off at the end of season two, but that role led to him starring in London Irish on Channel 4.
-

I got the first two seasons for Christmas
not enough episodes though. A couple of docs on the special features are quite interesting
-
The tit count get's dramatically lower post S1 tbh.
It's decent but it's got f**k all on The Wire/Sopranos, does it.
-
No, The Walking Dead
I've never been too fond of cop dramas, one step away from war filums imo
-
Well not exactly the same boat, I assume?

Perhaps I could just have an affair with someone who's got Sky and only lasts the length of the series?
-

some new telly shows are not even on the telly.
I just installed this Hola thing so I can watch yank Netflix.
-
Hmm. Maybe you'd like this one.
-

And bloody expensive!
-
Wasnt he Lord Roose Bolton's son?
-
Saw an episode when I was in the states. Looked OK, but it did seem to involve a competition between
Mahogany and Harrelson to see who could give the most mannered and drawling performance.
-
Will probably try the 1st episode tonight
-
Boardwalk Empire is also quite good
-
No. He was the son of the Onion Knight.
-
I tried but it's not grabbed me so far
-
Also, there's far too much of that tedious blonde tart wandering around the desert
She is dull. Particularly as she no longer gets 'em out.
-
Aha, apologies my liege
-
Those Netflix original series are quite good. I've started watching House of Cards but finished
Orange is the new Black. I thought that was quite good.
-
Mnyeh. Got bored with it.
My now-deceased brother in law's brother directed quite a lot of episodes of that.
-
Oh no, I like her. She had nowt anyway, dragons > tits
-
It doesn't help that I keep getting all the various brown people she encounters mixed up.

Mind you, they are all pretty much to a template.
-
You could get HBO nordic. It would cost you about £10 a month though.
-
George Lucas school of ethnic stereotypes
-
An honest mistake. Altho it is hard to forget my son...
-
"Tha's neee porn on it, like!"
-

I stopped watching mid way through S2 on this basis
-
A complex, but excellent, claim to fame.
Can he get me an auto....oh
-
Your son is a vile c**t
-
I lost it a while back, I hear it get's good again post S2 though.
I'm Veep-ing and House of Cards-ing at the moment though.
-
-
I would have agreed until I saw Breaking Bad. Some episodes of which have left me
emotionally exhausted.
This is a golden age of television J so enjoy it while you can for it will not last. The money men will see that it reverts to being contrived and formulaic.
-
I'd say plus 1, but you're plus 1ing me. So...
um so there you have it.
Tyrion Lannister is my fave char from a book with Valkyrie second. :hehe:
