It pains me to have a moan about sexy boy but he should've burried those two chances and
Indeed. He was slow. Slower than normal.
yep....him and monreal were the weak link.....the rest of the boys did well
Wilshere and Monreal were poor
This was always the worry, in fairness. The boy is fagged out.
Jack has looked out of sorts for some while, baring a few games this season.
Difference between a good striker and a top stirker. Has done better than most people expected
Agreed. Was it Monty who said we can't improve on him?
yeah he wasn't too great....shame about that 6th goal though looks the score awful
Yes, anyway not enough to make it worthwhile, I think was the gist.
Unless the Suarezes of this world become available in January and so on.
Fair enough that we may choose to regard Theo and Poldi returning as new signings, given the start we've had.
I think he has done well but he isn't Suarez, Aguero or RvP
Whether we could have got any of them is another point. Part of his dip in form is the lack of other options to keep him fresh. We didn't get Demba Ba and there wasn't enough time to get someone else in. Proves Wenger also knew this.
He's not even Dzeko or Negredo.
Harsh....he has done well considering how many minutes he has had to play all on his own up top.
Yeah, but he ain't clinical enough. He has had chances today and against Everton
that he should've scored from.
I'm a little foggy on the timeline but weren't Poldi and Theo fit at that time?
Bendy certainly was injured though, IIRC.
Players miss chances. Shapness is a major factor
things he was doing earlier in the season, he isn't quite doing now.
Sorry, sharpness doesn't make him score those two chances. He was sharp enough to
make the runs and get in position, he just bottled the finish. He has always been like that, even when he plays well. He'll miss a few and then score when he really shouldn't.
Right. And yet He still wanted more

Sharpness is a factor, but it really shouldn't be. Scoring goals is just
an incredibly difficult and complicated business with absolutely no guarantee of success, no matter how good you are.
After all, we don't question a brain surgeon's "sharpness" when he loses a patient, do we.
Of course it does. It is a big factor
