Are Real Madrid the most obnoxious negotiators ever?
We will happily sell you a player we don't want for a good profit.
Well, now that it's all agreed, we actually want a few million more.
Wait a bit, we're getting a new manager, he wants to see the player first.
The new manager wants him. Not for sale.
Wait, the new manager doesn't want him but we're going to massively inflate the price and sell him to someone else now.
Haha, our mistake, they don't want to buy him after all. Still want him?
Oh, while you're thinking about it, we're going to swap him for the other guy you want so you can't have either.
So, will you be paying cash or check?
I shouldn't think the player is too happy either to be honest
If I was Higuain I'd be furious
Would certainly seem to have a far greater case for being 'angry & confused' than Rooney
If I'm Rooney, I'm wondering how RVP leapfrogs me to team leader now that Scholes and Giggs are gone
Though, in Rooney's defence, It's a hell of a jump from Keystage one to Keystage two reading levels
That's a kind of permanent state for Rooney isn't it, just more so at the moment.
I have never negotiated with them.
I think it is Moyes's idea of motivation.
I'd be getting concerned if I were a Man U fan. I sicerely hope he screws up big time. Nice falling out with the puppet master publicly would be nice.
I'd love to see your reaction when somebody introduced themselves as Florentino
His answer will be something along the lines of "Do you drink Lambrini?"*
*This may not be even close to his actual answer
Word is going round that actually Arsenal are.
or is this any club having to deal with Wenger's dithering over a potential transfer
or "f**k off mate, where's zebedee?"
I really don't understand the whole 'dithering' thing, he's one of the World's best managers
and should imagine that he knows a players worth better than most. Just because we have money I see no reason to blow it by paying stupid amounts.
More in agreement with PV's observation that we are difficult to deal with, we negotiate very hard and don't just roll over and say "another £10m? Okay"
I thought the club were more keen on Jovetic than Higs..
whether that was due to a hold up from RM or not I dont know.. Surely if the intial pursuit was as strong as it was later we could have had Higs wrapped up a while back even at a price cheaper to what is being quoted.. We allowed a cashed up Napoli to enter and create an havoc ...
the problem with that is his value on a player seems to be it, if the selling club dont agree then
that's it
If you have a boat load of cash and you want players you cant always play hard ball and I would imagine he has lost us lots of players over the years.
