Think we can all accept a slow start to the season as the team finally click
it's the f**king moaners we have to put up with each week how its a crisis. This team will take a few games to get going, maybe won't get a win for a few more weeks. However i have no doubt they will sort it out and challenge up the top and in europe.
Exciting season ahead imo.
I'm pleasantly surprised at how patient most fans are being
Compared to last year, this summer has been great tbf
So why haven't Chelsea started slowly...Hazard has hit the ground running
Stop making excuses for mediocrity.
indeed c. kagawa, michu, hazard, el ahmadi, and dare i say, rvp have all scored for their new clubs
So Pires and Henry were mediocre players too then?
Seem to remember them not starting particularly brightly.
Some guy called Bergkamp took quite a few games as well
Your right our situation is exactly the same as chelsea.
except he never took off, didn't he? see what i did there, c?
I remember Jimmy Greaves wrote an article with a cut out and keep pic of a goal for DB10
so he'd know what it looked like
Another alchy dinosaur
Only Vieira really hit the ground running of our major players
under Wenger I think.
There's a history of slow starters amongst eventual very good players.
Nothing to be concerned about yet at all.
Hazard also arrived earlier and wasnt involved in the euros
But dont let me stop you.
vermaelen, lehmann, lauren, sol, freddie, arteta - all started brightly imo
Hmm,I'd dispute Sol and Lehmann, Still the vast majority of our players have needed time
Sol and Arteta already had an advantage, seeing as they had played in the same league for years
The only one I can recall starting as he meant to go on was Wrighty
Sol had a slow start anyway. Remember him being quite overweight for a while.
I would say going undefeated in your first 47 league games was a decent start
Took Freddie 2 years to sort himself out
