To be fair, I thought all those calls were right apart from Silva. He got away with that, although it would probably have been a pretty soft red.

I didn't watch, obv.

But I still haven't got over that AM **** stamping deliberately on Ricky C's wrist. That should have been a red. Thank Ganpati we went through, what with the pen overturned in the first leg.

That was weird. He barely reacted. Didn't even seem angry. And the crowd didn't screaming about it either.

I don't get football any more. That was a deliberate attempt to hurt. That's far worse than a late challenge where the studs cme dwn the shin or ankle. Yet the latter can et a red, the former not.

Is it because, as with that other incident, the ball was out of play? Does that make a difference to violent conduct?
