This. Though it's the 70s in my case.

Ok, that's a fair point. But the thing is, I don't listen to modern music. But I watch more football than I did in the '80s. Most weeks of the season, I watch us twice. For most of the '80s it was the odd cup game and the one time a year when it wasn't the Scousers on MotD.
It was only late '80s that the one live game a week came in. I reckon that because there's just so much Arsenal "content" I don't need to read about other clubs.
In the '80s, say, you could have weeks without a story on us so would hear about players from other clubs.
I'd literally never heard of this Gravadlax Scouser and have no idea who plays for the Chavs at all, or Sperz now Kane's gone. I assume they've still got Son?
What happened to that classy, black centre half Georgie Graham trained? He was useful. They had a pretty good Northern Irish 'keeper, too.
But in all seriousness, if Son has gone as well as Kane, who is/are the fans' favourites, the first names of the teamsheet, the ones they sing about the most. In short, who are their heroes now? Or has it gone all Stranglers? Let's hope so.
I honestly don't know. They've signed some new guys (like Kudus and Simons) but I don't know who the favourites are.
They have a couple of capable centre backs in Romero and Van Der Ven. Although Romero is a thug who would get sent off every week if he played for us.
