If you think us monarchists care about heredity or any such nonsense, you haven't been paying
attention to British constitutional history. It matters not a jot whether the bloodline is correct, it only matters that the right chap (or chapess) is on the throne. The entire Royal line has been fudged for practical purposes for centuries now, but nobody cares as long as we have the right non-executive Chairman in place.
