Even the rest of France consider Parisians to be insufferably arrogant. Londoners might not be friendly but I don't think we are particularly rude. There are rules, you know. I had some Northerners on the tube carriage the other night. They talked loudly in Northern all the way to Euston. Now that's what I call bad manners.
