The board have made these same statements every year for the past 5 years
you got me there. nothing for sure, surely.
but we have relatively trustworthy journos who reached consensus on these stories. What else would explain away these failures?

The board didn't clog up the squad with 10 or more players on massive salaries whom in the end had to be let go at a loss.

The fact is there is a lot of blame to go round. It isn't just Wenger who is at fault.
