I found his hair distracting. It was difficult to concentrate on the game such was the degree of its absurdity.

I remember reading an article where it flatly stated that, with players like Walcott, Wilshere and Gibbs, Arsenal would be providing the core of the next World Cup winning England side.

There were times when Adebayor was on his game where he was a real handful. Not far off Drogba levels of physicality combined with actual pace.
