It is a bit unfair. But football relies on its corporate income. Sponsors and owners call the shots. If you want Declan Rice, someone has to pay for it.
Also, piss off Emirates and somebody has to pay for the flights :-(

My point is that tens of millions of fans in Africa will be worth far more than an airline's sponsorship in a decade or two. Africa's gonna get rich and those fans will be far more useful to us than Singapore or HK etc.
And I loved seeing them walk around with their goats in Arsenal shirts and flags. As I may have mentioned, I like goats.

The GLW and I and a couple of friends were in Delhi and moved hotel from the Tibetan Colony to Paharganj. When we got to the new hotel and went online, he was on the front page of the BBC News international version.
But yeah, we really should play a pre-season friendly or two in Africa every year. As you say, those fans have earned it, staying with us for the last 22 years. As have their goats.
