If Mikel could politely ask some of the players to occasionally kick the ball towards the goal, that would be a nice start :-)

Sideways passing has been an Arsenal tradition for about 15 years now, IUFG2 :-)
We did score 4 in the previous round as you will recall. Players tend to kick it forward more when there is someone to kick it to. Hence how baffling his team was last night.
He needs to learn from his mistakes. Our previous two managers seemed unable to do this and it was the end of them. As much as I hate to give the red-faced c*nt credit, his ability to learn from his mistakes and change is one of the things that made SAF so good for so long.

this is what I worry about,
Kroenke's will try to settle things down with one big name signing.
Arteta will still be around we might start a bit better next season but will be in the same mess again by next October/November.
With fans hopefully back Arteta will no way be able to stay.
he'd be long gone if this was a normal season with fans now.
