:hehe: You think the problem last night was Gyokeres not getting the better of their centre halves? :hehe:
Honestly Rich, I'm sure you're a reasonable fellow in person, but you really, really, really don't understand football.

I thought Gyok did quite well on the 6 or 7 occasions the ball came to him.
We were really good for 15 minutes. Pressing high, winning the ball back, pulling Wolves around.
That's a side that wins the league. Unfortunately, we are also the side that sat out the last 70 odd minutes of the game, retreating, giving the ball away and surrendering control to the worst side in the league.
That side wins **** all. :-(
Yes, his hold up play generally has been much better recently. I think he needs to realise he isn't in Portugal anymore where you get a foul for breathing on someone. He's a bit of a unit, but I wish he used his size and strength more often as in this league he can get away with it.
There were also 3 or 4 opportunites where he was perfectly placed for a tap in, sh1t ball in every time. One from Timber particularly irritated me, it was a ball any decent pro should be able to play.
Still, it was Gyok's fault
I was expecting to see Madueke and Timber hooked at half time. Hard to believe JT played the whole game, he was well off the pace. White and Saka on the right might have regained the momentum after the restart. Kai's return is imperative. Gyok can't be expected to perform with the service he currently gets.
Madueke was awful. He even gets basics wrong. He is facing a full back, and there are people making runs inside him to move the full back's cover out of the way and give him a big space to run into behind him.
Not only does he ignore that, but he then tries beating his full back when the cover is still there.
Brainless. Guy has plenty of talent but has arguably less maturity than Nwaneri.
