Hinchappy, first season in the PL, 2nd/3rd choice for 2 positions, been injured, often plays with the B team, makes a mistake and suddenly we don't think he's worth making permanent. Jeez.

Remember that towering header on halfway for the 4th goal vs Sperz etc?

He won the Bundesleague at 22 for a non-BM team, FFS.

Thank God we didn't have social media in the late '80s. One misplaced pass from Dicko or Bouldy and it would have been "See? Div 2 level."

To be fair, I think we all mentioned those errors. Wes called Zubimendi a **** and said it wasn't the first time. :-)

However, we trust those players. When someone is excellent for years you accept the odd mistake. When someone is new and 'on trial' you are going to notice the errors.

That was awful defending last night bit I've seen enough of him to like him. He is a but of a nutter as well. That could come in handy....

First time i ever went to Anfield (88 i think) Winterburn had to play at right back. He did ok.
