Your last sentence is telling. How many times have we said that?

If Arteta had been in charge of Nazi Germany they would have never got further than the Rhineland.

(I am not comparing Arteta to Hitler, nor advocating a Hitleresque approach to football management. It is purely an illustration around caution) :-)
