Don't get me wrong, I am not judging you for liking it. We all like a bit of bland now and again. No alarms or surprises - just sitting there wallowing in the intellectual equivalent of a sensory deprivation tank can be very comforting at times.

Your position reminds me of the hot spice-freak who finds all flavours except very hot & spicy to be bland. You have shattered your sensors with extreme content and find drama without such excessive tropes to be without flavour.
