Fair enough. Snobbery is often outverted (if that's a word) too;
it can be used to project the person, the "you", you would *like* others to see.
theres nothing like a short well structured menu to know the food will be fresh and the chef is good
.... :-) :-) though tbh places like that in scotland after doing full days climbing, hiking, ski toring were a godsend when out with the boy..as could fill up on thousands of calories for feck all money and just enjoy the naughtiest food you can imagine ;-) also tht menu would seem quite tame and healthy compared to Des Moines Diners I visited...deep fried battered chilli cheese sticks,cheese stuffed in chillis wrapped in bacon then deep fried, etc
