I urge you to reconsider, bb. There is a place in life for the noble chicken,
be it an elderly cock stewed in wine, a tender young poussin spatchcocked ona barbecue, or a fine, plump hen roasted to a golden bronze surrounded by a sea of crunchy roast spuds.
Where such a beast has NO PLACE AT ALL is in a kebab.
Lambgrease will make you happy.
I'm sure I read somewhere that Beckenham has a Lebaneser. You could have shawarma!
kebabshops sepcialise in the refry of pervious cooked chips i find..can work ok
or can leave them very dry..depends on the quality of chip to brgin and cooking process i guess :-)
I've never been but it's definitely interesting.
Have you ever been to this place?

There is a serious paucity of decent eateries anywhere near the office, tbh. Quite embarrassing when we have visitors.

You and Pat have just reminded me of a bit of miscommunication I had in a kebab shop in the late
80's. Never had chilli on my kebabs until that day. Ordered my kebab and was staring out the window at a right miserable overcast cold day. Bloke says to me 'little bit chilli' to which I replied 'yeah, least it's not raining tho' Realised what had happened as soon as I tucked in. :hehe:
I've never looked back :cloud9:
Word. People who order chicken doners sadden me.
