What's your name for the former former Man Utd manager?
It was just wonderful, thank you.
I've been to Arnhem many times but never for the big weekend, so it was a first for me. Didn't fly over as the weather was forecast to be pants.
Really, really emotional weekend. Dozens and dozens of events going on, big and small. The para drop at Ginkel Heath was amazing. Especially when a detachment of German paras joned the march past and got roundly booed by 60,000 Dutchmen :hehe:
Not sure too many City fans thought he was one of them last weekend
Given the Jack handball and fouls leading to goals ... allegedly
Permitted City's rotational fouling (which Mike Dean punished yesterday) and allowed Zabaleta to
foul at will (which was presumably why he looked so surprised to be sent off yesterday).
Oh I agree entirely with that assessment but
we did get lucky with the big decisions. As said by sw, incompetence and weakness more likely the cause then bias
Excellent - did any of your relations serve in the paras and saw action at Arnhem?
Looking forward to doing a tour of the D-Day landings at Normandy next summer.
No. My father was Dutch and it meant a lot to him.
He used to take me there when I was a kid.
