Last couple of days all I've heard is how great Emi Martinez is (he isn't) and Courtois is best in the world (he is very good) but virtually no mention of Raya

I wouldn't say he is underrated but he doesn't get an awful lot of attention. He isn't flashy, our mouthy like Martinez. I wouldn't swap him for anyone and was thinking the other night how massively right Arteta was in replacing Ramsdale.
He it a gorgeous pass out to the left flank the other night, first time, with an opponent bearing down on him :-)
Raya needs to win the title or the Big Ears because when, Ganpati willing, we do he'll be talked about as an all-time Arsenal great. His composure reminds me of Spunky, he's produced some amazing saves and double saves this season and he's basically playing as a libero.

Agent Lukic at his finest

I don't even remember that.* Just watched the highlights. At HT, GG {him, not me} took off Razor {leaving Selley and Morrow in MF} to bring on SuperKev to go with IWWW, Smudger and Merse. Decent forward line, that. And in ET, Rocky came on for Leeds to join Lukic.
*Saw the games were late Jan and start of Feb in '93. We were living in the flat above Bromley-by-Bow library that we'd squatted for the NYE rave that went on 5 days {cos it started Thurs and ended Monday} and we did parties there the next few weekends before squatting a pub in Hackney Wick, the Lord Napier.
Every time I see it's remains as we drive past the old library coming north from the Blackwall Tunnel, it brings back loads of memories. Like that forward line does. Or the end of the previous season with Limpar as well.
Oh, GeekWIMB. The end of the '92 season with Merse and Limpar was the first time I'd ever seen wingers swap flanks so they'd cut inside and we and most other teams do nowadays. Was it done before and if so by whom and when?
