Plenty of 'Happy Hours' around the city where you can get a pint for as cheap as ?8-9, just for an hour or so.
What sort of country wants to encourage tourism but allows that sort of alcohol pricing?

Actually, the terminal I was at on the way home had Tiger Beer which was much more palatable. I think Abu Dhabi I was paying 16 quid for a Guinness last year. And I was there for 12 hours

I was pleasantly surprised in Australia that it was cheaper than 14 years ago due to the exchange rate. Some decent beer as well
