Anyone I'm missing?
Anyone know who our No.7s were in the '30s and if they were born and bred Gooners?

Yes. 621 first team appearances. Although he made his debut at 17 I don't believe he came through the ranks, 'Geordie' being a clue! Might not have been born and bred a Gooner but he died as one while training the reserves.
Wow. Just googled him. Didn't realise that he also played for Middlesex. Middle-order bat and right-arm medium fast bowler. Or that he managed the scum and it was the team he built that won them the title a couple of years after he left.
{And thinking of Middlesex-AFC connections, just googled Steve Gatting and we have the same birthday.}
Sheet, forgot DC played RW and would therefore have worn the No.7.
Any chance Saka could bat in the middle order? {Though while DC averaged 50 overall and 60 in Eng, just 33 in Aus. So probably not much better than the current side. Joe Root only averages 35 there - so far.....}
