Football is strange. Mourinho played counter attack, with three defensive mids>>
And is somehow hailed as a genius, when this is what he has been doing all his life against big clubs. Sometimes it works; sometimes it does not.
No surprise, no innovation there. He just has the ability to pull it off, because he has better player--than say Big Sam--at his disposal. Yes, City with their ridiculous two-men midfield (indeed, almost one-man--as Yaya is really a number 10 the way he plays) made it a bit more likely that it would succeed. But, re-watching this AM,the game was not the tactical masterclass everyone mentions. Just a close game, where the counter attacks shaded it.
Again, not a foregone conclusion that we will win the title; but Arsenal is, by a fine but fair margin, better, more balanced, and more consistent than this lot--as out current position suggests.
Toure plays like a No.10?
And didn't Chelsea hit the post/crossbar 3 or 4 times?
The very fact that you are deviant enough to watch a game between Manchester City and Chelsea twice
in the space of 12 hours pretty much obscures any relevant point you may have tbh
As an attacking midfielder behind the strikers, more often than not; yes.
I think he means more of a trequartista
Mrs Thatcher - he bullies minors
He defended like a #10 on the goal!
