Right. Flamini, Ozil or Mata, and some central defender I haven't scouted.
Then we're competing for the title.
(Flamini isn't ideal but hey, we're spunking 35 million on Mata or 40 on Ozil right?)
I'd like a 40 million striker on top of that but beggars and choosers and all that. I guess we can forego the defender if the striker comes in. :wengerball:
We don't. We have Giroud, Podolski, Walcott (who will be playing on the right less) and Sanogo.
If we can't sign an absolutely top striker then I would rather the money was invested in world class players for other positions. Our other attacking players will still contribute many goals.
So we have 1 and a half quality strikers then?
I love Giroud but he hasn't shown he can do it against good teams yet. We're very one-dimensional in attack and a striker has to still be the priority.
Williams, not the one from enter the dragon, seems favourite
you mean competing for 2nd or 3rd place surely?
Apparently Giroud hasn't scored a premiership goal outside of London yet
Thankfully he must make around 65% of all Premier League appearances in London.
Pah! Man City will be begging us for Szechnesy come January.
And if we have Mata, then Chelsea, ManU and Spurs don't. :tapsnose:

I see the logic there. 2nd choice DM, 3rd choice RB and LB allowing
Sagna to be 4th choice CB.
He must be asking a FORTUNE though in wages if we haven't signed him yet.
